The arts center is abuzz with activity this September! We have many social events to attend, and we’re incredibly excited to be involved in the celebration of the City of Camden’s cultural district.

Cultural District Celebration
The City of Camden and the Arts Center of Kershaw County are thrilled to announce a week-long celebration of the cultural district, featuring art, live music, historical lectures and education, a community art project and a special visit from GRAMMY nominated jazz vocalist Nnenna Freelon.
This celebration begins Saturday, September 3rd and runs through Saturday, September 10th. The majority of events will be free or at little cost.
Please join us for the The Mountain Girls Artist Reception at the Bassett Gallery on September 8 from 5:30 pm – 7:00pm. The reception is open to the public and light refreshments will be served.

Donors, friends, volunteers, and the public, are invited to attend this annual event and review the Arts Center’s accomplishments during the 2021-2022 season.
Treat yourself to an evening of jazz with Reggie Sullivan and the Congaree Saints as you savor some light refreshments in our Black Box Theater. A perfect night out with friends or a loved one.
