SPANKthe80s: The Ultimate 80’s Tribute Band Experience

Get ready to dance, sing, and relive the neon-colored, hairspray-infused glory of the 80’s with SPANKthe80s, the nation’s premier 80’s tribute band! Since 1999, SPANKthe80s has electrified audiences with high-energy performances featuring hits from Journey, Prince, Bon Jovi, and more. With over-the-top visuals, eye-popping fashion, and an incredible light show, this unforgettable tribute captures the sound, style, and spirit of the era with stunning authenticity.

Known for his expressive touch and commanding musicianship, Hoffmeyer has appeared as soloist with orchestras in the U.S. and abroad, earned honors at prestigious competitions, and now serves as pianist and managing artistic director of the Upton Trio. This recital offers a rare chance to hear one of South Carolina’s brightest musical talents up close as John brings his artistry home in a program sure to inspire and delight!

The Exhibition
Riding Out the Storm is an unflinching visual and literary exploration of cancer and its aftermath. Through mixed media works and storyboards, Salley McInerney takes viewers on a journey through diagnosis, treatment, personal loss, and renewal—offering a raw and deeply human portrait of resilience, change, and self-understanding.
