The Arts Center of Kershaw County will start its 2022-2023 Season with The SpongeBob Musical. This musical is based on the popular Nickelodeon show and follows the adventures of SpongeBob Squarepants and his friends as they try to save their home from destruction. The musical features a catchy score, colorful costumes, and a cast of lovable characters that will delight audiences of all ages.
Arts Center’s Open House & Hot Dog Lunch
The Multicultural Committee at the Arts Center is excited to announce its annual Open House & Hot Dog Lunch! This free event is an excellent opportunity for the whole community to come together and learn about all the different programs offered at the center. From pottery and dance classes to theater and music programs, there’s something for everyone at the Arts Center. And of course, what would an Open House be without hot dogs? The police department will hand cook lunch for everyone to enjoy. We hope to see you there!
The Mountain Girls Exhibition
We are excited to announce our next exhibition in the Bassett Gallery, The Mountain Girls. This show will feature the work of six female artists who all meet up for their annual artist retreat in the North Carolina mountains. Each artist has a unique approach to their work, and the show will include a variety of mediums, from painting and sculpture to collage and mixed media. It promises to be an excellent show of art and conversation.
