The City of Camden and the Arts Center of Kershaw County are proud to invite you to the Spring Blankets & Bands Concert Series!

Blankets & Bands brings some of the best talent around to our very own Town Green for an evening of food and fun! The event will last from 6:00 to 8:30 pm each Thursday, with our headliner beginning at 6:30 pm (weather permitting of course). Bring a picnic dinner or get takeaway from one of our fantastic local restaurants! Beer and wine are permitted, but glass containers are not.

April 10th – Possum Hollow Music Club

Possum Hollow Music Club serves up a foot-stomping blend of Americana, rock-n-roll, traditional roots, and bluegrass. With Fred driving rhythm and vocals, Trey holding down the low end on bass, Jeff weaving melodies on guitar and vocals, and Michael adding color on mandolin, harmonica, and vocals, the band delivers a rich, soulful sound that’s equal parts grit and groove.

April 24 – 2 for the Road

2 For the Road featuring Jim Graddick delivers a fresh take on Americana with their signature rockgrass sound. Blending bluegrass, country, folk, western, and rock influences, the band creates a high-energy performance steeped in storytelling and tradition. With skilled musicianship and heartfelt vocals, 2 For the Road takes audiences on a journey through the roots of American music—one foot-tapping, soul-stirring song at a time.

May 8 – The Randy Clay Band with Chuck Carland DJ

The Randy Clay Band delivers a powerful blend of Motown, Beach, Soul, Country, Rock, Pop, Funk, and Disco, all wrapped in rich vocals and tight musicianship. With decades of experience and a deep catalog of original songs and crowd favorites, the band knows how to keep audiences moving. Backed by DJ Chuck Carland, they bring an irresistible energy to the stage—celebrating the music you love and the sounds that stand the test of time. From smooth grooves to dance floor classics, The Randy Clay Band serves up a feel-good soundtrack for any music lover.

May 22 – Nahi Gruv

Nahi Grūv blends the infectious energy of pop with the rich musicianship and jazz sophistication of a bygone era, creating a sound that’s as captivating as it is boundary-breaking. Led by visionary WiSH (Walter S. Hemingway), the group flows seamlessly through genres—fusing jazz, soul, pop, and dance music into a mesmerizing experience. With pristine vocals, lyrical storytelling, and soulful instrumental solos, Nahi Grūv bridges generations and musical tastes, delivering a performance that resonates with music lovers of every style.
