Ostensibly the story of a pioneer woman and her six daughters, Quilters blends a series of interrelated scenes into a rich mosaic which captures the sweep and beauty, the terror and joy, and the harsh challenges and abiding rewards of frontier life. Illuminating stories depict the life of women on the frontier: girlhood, marriage, childbirth, spinsterhood, twisters, fire, illness, and death.

The MAD Festival is an 8-day celebration of music, art, drama, and dance that features performances throughout the Downtown Camden Cultural District and Kershaw County!
